Profile

I'm a well-experienced researcher with great enthusiasm and passion for Islamic banking and finance. I'm currently holding a directorship and leading a team of academicians from various backgrounds at Azman Hashim International Business School, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. In holding this position, the experience I gained has provided me with solid communication and teamwork skills.

My strong educational background and vast work experience have offered me a unique opportunity in the field. I've been received wide industry recognition for my impactful work and frequently invited as a speaker and advisor to international and local institutions. In addition, I have a proven track record leading various consultancies projects and winning award research projects with a total value of more than RM10 Million. Writing is my passion, and to date, I have authored more than 100 research papers, book chapters, and media articles. In my spare time, I enjoy a good happy hour with family and friends, the sounds of a great music playlist, reading, travelling, and outdoor adventure.
